My sister lives in another country and my mobile phone doesn’t give me a very good signal when I try to phone my sister. I want to use my land line phone but rather than getting huge phone bills I want to try and phone her using an international phone card where in the UK can I buy phone cards.

It sounds like you need a international phone card.

I happen to have one you can have.

I have had this phone card for over 2 years. Works great! (I just never use it)

The minutes never expire.

feel free to use up the remaining minutes. as many as you want.

I never use the phone card.

Question by Katie: Who is responsible when the ALO international phone cards do not work properly?
I bought an ALO international phone card from a vending machine in the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. But the card doesn’t work properly. I called their customer service, they only speak in English and they told me that the customer service and the phone card company are not the same company. I found the ALO cards website, wrote 2 emails, but they were “rejected by the recipient domain”.
So the questions I would like to ask are: do you know who is the person in charge for those cards? And how to have my money back?

You got scammed. A lot of these cards used to be scams. They had 5 minute minimums for each call. Get an answering machine and you lose 5 minutes. They expired in 90 days even tho you bought 2,000 minutes; and nowhere on the card did it warn you of that.
ALO cheated you. You could ask the District Attorney is she would call the company for you. She works to protect the public from scams..
