The long distance calls cost 14 cents a minute using this card. Alice used her card only once to make a long distance phone call. If her remaining credit on the card is $ 9.54, how many minutes did her call last?

To figure this one out, subtract $ 9.54 from $ 15, and you’ll find that Alice used $ 5.46 of her credit. Divide this by 14 and you’ll get the number of minutes she talked.

Then when you want to buy something you just keep topping it up with the amount you wish to spend,its easy

Some online stores allow you to use a checking account to purchase items. If you’re set on buying online though almost all sites are going to ask for credit/debit/ or gift card for payment.

($ 15 – $ 5.13) / ($ .21/min) = 47 min.
